As part of the loading gantry facilities an Internet accessible system has been put in place, called MyLoading@Vopak. This system enables the hauliers to perform a number of activities to reduce time for the drivers on site. Preparation via MyLoading@Vopak will guarantee loading and paperwork within 2 hours for an order. (Please see safety and loading instructions for details)
Hauliers can access three different modules in MyLoading@Vopak:
- Pre-register drivers and vehicles
- Book a time slot for loading
- Prepare a preliminary loadplan
The pre-registration enables the entry of all relevant data related to drivers and vehicles (such as driving license, ADR registration, compartment details) that will be used for loading. Haulier can enter and maintain this information via this module.
The slot booking enables the haulier to book a slot, up to three weeks in advance. Booking a slot reserves capacity in the loading gantry and Vopak guarantees loading and paperwork within 2 hours for an order. It also provides the haulier with insight in the occupancy of the loading gantry and prevents wasted visits when no capacity is available. It enables Shell to prioritise rush orders and capacity monitoring.
The preliminary loadplan module enables the haulier to link orders to a driver and a vehicle and making a compartment plan for loading the order(s). Upon linking a number of compartment plans are provided and can be easily changed if desired so.
